5/30/2007 This Week's HEROES Easter Egg Pic Is Funny!!!This is the easter egg picture from this week's online graphic novel. I would be laughing my ass off if I were Adrian. It looks like he's gonna kick Hayden...Trinity style. Anything goes in the name of art. Anywho, I love that the graphic novels come with extras. I hope that all the novels that will come out during the summer have a nifty little gift attached like this pic. Oh, wells. There's no real story here...I just wanted to post this picture. Enjoy. Today In "Hello And Welcome To Last Week" News!!!So HEROES is over for the season. I needed a week to mourn. I'm finally back posting since April, I think. Been very busy with every single thing in my life. Alas, I'm back. Let me begin that I'm not one of those fans that hated the finale. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Grant it, I was at the edge of my seat waiting for the showdown in Kirby Plaza (I would get spoiled by some friendly Canadians -- Thank you guys!). I loved how they all converged in New York City. I always wondered how they were gonna pull that off without appearing like it was forced in any way. Anygay, back to the finale. So Peter, indeed, went nuclear (or as Bush might say it...nu-ku-lar), hence the nifty shot of his explosion in the picture above. The scene between Peter, Claire & Nathan made me weep. I'm a sucker for that. Adrian Pasdar's delivery of "You saved the cheerleader, so we could save the world" was it for me. It could of been so cheesy, but it wasn't. I was eating that shit up like crazy. At this point, I was already in tears because of Claire's reluctance at shooting Peter. Thank God Nathan redeemed himself in the end. Whether he returns or not is yet to be seen. Same goes for Peter. What else happened? Let's see. D.L. and Jessica made their way to New York to get Micah back...and to kill Linderman (thank God they offed him). Finally, Nikki is in control. I doubt we've seen the last of Jessica though. And the moment that I've been waiting for a few weeks finally happened. Nikki owned Candice's ass. It was so sweet. If only she would have gone berserk a little longer. I'm not going by sequential order...mmmkay. The showdown was short, but sweet. I creamed my chones when Nikki stepped in and beat Sylar with that parking meter. The inner geek came out at that moment. It left me wanting more though. Then Peter starts glowing. Oh, oh. Hiro appears with sword in hand, calls out Sylar. Sylar turns around and boosh....gets massively owned by Hiro. Then another nerdgasm moment occurred when Hiro says 'Yatta' with a serious face for the first time. I came. Sylar was not done though. As Peter pleads to Hiro to help kill him, Sylar TK's Hiro away from Peter, sending him flying into the building. Hiro teleports outta there...more on him later. Sylar 'supposedly' dies. Peter is in agony when Claire arrives. And I'm caught up with the beginning of the post. She won't shoot Peter. Nathan arrives and flies Peter the hell outta there. Then Peter goes BOOM! Everyone is left there at the plaza going wtf?. Ambulance arrives takes the wounded Matt away (I hope he comes back). Mohinder is with Molly. Finally we see Claire and Noah Bennet. Yes ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Bennet has a name and it's Noah. They head 'home'. The last shot is a trail of blood where Sylar's body was leading into the sewer. Then there's a cockroack and "End of Volume One". But wait, there's more.
We are taken right into Volume Two: Generations. Damn everyone at HEROES for being the biggest teases. Hiro appears from outta nowhere. From first glance, it looks like he landed on the middle of a field in Anywhere, USA. His ass went back a few centuries. Hiro is in fuedal Japan. He's caught between two forces...one of them being Takeshi Kensei. They're about to go to battle when darkness envelops the area.
Another solar eclipse. Coincidence? This is where we are left off. I wanna know everything that happens dammit. BTW, doesn't that eclipse look way too cartoonish? Now comes the hard part...the waiting game. HEROES - Volume Two: Generations tentatively returns on September 24. That's a long time to wait. I'm pretty sure there will be spoilers posted during the summer *spins with glee*. I will try to post as much as possible, mmmkay. Season One dvd comes out about a month before the show returns (August 28). I will make a post about it later. Well, that's it for Season One of one of the best shows this season: HEROES. Thanks to everyone at HEROES for making Monday nights bearable and making me give t.v. another shot. The last time I watched t.v. was BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (that show is my all). Thanks again. Until then...
*Taps foot on floor, patiently waiting for Heroes* Thanks to no one for the caps. I did 'em muh-self. |
